Can you tell us your latest news? Invicta: Sanctuary just released on July 13 as part of The Naughty Box 2. Invicta Salvation released the end of May, and Payce’s Passion released in April.
When did you first consider yourself a writer? September 2012 when I signed my first publishing contract with Evernight Publishing, for my story Twisted Cherry
What inspired you to write your first book? The characters in my head wouldn’t leave me alone. I threatened them, but they wouldn’t leave, only threatened back, to explode my brain
Do you have a specific writing style? Not sure if this is a style or not, but I write in first person, from a man’s pov, a cocky tone and pretty blunt. I do curse like a sailor. I think I was probably a gay man in a past life.
What do you want your readers to get out of your novels? That love is love, and it doesn’t matter your age, gender, or race, you work and fight for what you believe in
Have there been any authors that interest you by their writing styles or subjects? Absolutely so, Anne Rice of course, but Indie authors are Poppet Author, Kindle Alexander and Rue Volley.
Who are your three favorite authors and what is it that really strikes you about their work? Poppet Author-her passion and her research skills. You can bet if it’s in her books, it’s been researched thoroughly. Rue Volley-her imagination and the way she can bend it. I watched her from the very beginning, her drive and her perseverance and determination. Kindle Alexander-for her sincerity. Her passion is incredible and drive. She is one of the most-tender hearted and giving people that I know.
What are your current projects? The Invicta Series (which is a five part series) and the final story in The Passion Series. (which will be out in December 2014) I also have another story brewing in my head too, but too soon to talk about. lol
Do you see writing as a career? Yes
Which comes first? The character’s story, or, the idea for the novel? For me, the story idea
What have you learned from writing your books? That love and happiness comes in all forms, it’s unique to us all. When you’re passionate about your beliefs, anything is possible, no matter the odds.
Do you have any advice for other writers? To keep writing and don’t let anyone hold you back. Follow your passion and dreams.
Do have anything specific that you want to say to your readers? To thank them for all the support and love they’ve shown. To also say thanks to such a tight nit group, the mm readers and authors are some of the most dedicated and loyal people that I know
